As both a working farm and a private residence for the Meeks family, led by Donna and Joe, Live Oak Plantation warmly welcomes ceremonies and receptions.

Live Oak Plantation offers a dedicated get-ready room where the couple and their wedding party can prepare for the festivities of the day. Once ready, the ceremony can take place amidst the enchanting ambience of the venue's ancient trees. For the reception, the lakeside terrace provides a delightful setting. Alternatively, an indoor celebration can be held in the elegant reception hall at the Cotton House. With a spacious area spanning 3,800 square feet, the hall can accommodate a maximum of 180 guests. Its lofty ceilings create an expansive atmosphere, ensuring a sense of grandeur regardless of the party's size. In case of inclement weather disrupting an outdoor ceremony, the reception hall serves as a convenient backup option. Additionally, ample parking space is available for the convenience of all guests.
